The Flat-Coated Retriever Club of Illinois is looking for a Rescue Coordinator.  The territory includes Illinois, southern Wisconsin, eastern Iowa and western Indiana.  The position involves helping to identify potential resuce dogs, coordinate with potential rescue homes, locate foster homes and interface with the FCRSA rescue committee. The time involved varies as some cases take longer to assess than others, but usually no more than 4-5 cases per year.  This is not a position where it is expected that the person will DO everything themselves.  If you are interested, contact Cheryl Kistner at
